A man has escaped from the residential work release facility in Davenport.

On December 16, 2016, Branden Ray Kupfer did not return to the release facility after his work day.

Kupfer is a 33-year-old white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5'6" and weighs 173 pounds. Kupfer has tattoos on his upper left arm, chest and left hand.

Kupfer was serving a 30 year sentence for second degree robbery and unauthorized possession of weapons.

Kupfer was ordered to work release following parole revocation in September 2016. Work release is a minimum security setting designed to allow offenders to gradually adjust to the transition between prison and the community.

Anyone with information on Kupfer's whereabouts should contact the Davenport Police Department or Scott County Sheriff's Department.
