DAVENPORT — Police were dispatched to the same Davenport neighborhood twice in the early morning hours of Dec. 16 in response to shots fired.
The first call came in around 3:20 a.m. when a resident in the 1500 block of Meadow Brook Court reported a residence being shot at. When police arrived, they discovered several shell casings and damage to the home. No one was injured.
A little over an hour later, police were again dispatched to Meadow Brook Court for a second shots-fired complaint. This time, the same home and two vehicles outside of it sustained bullet damage. Police believe the two incidents are related.
