We are in the midst of a very progressive weather pattern. Last weekend's snowstorm brought between 6 and 10 inches of snow. Now we're dealing with cold temperatures.
But the next cold blast looks to be worse than the one we're in now. And by then, we are likely to have more snow on the ground (which puts the lower atmosphere on ice).
