If you don’t like to get your hands sticky, this may not be the craft for you. I found myself washing my hands A LOT. However, if you want to see Jonathan and Eric play with glue – watch this:

I was thinking about going to the store to look for some more decorations, but I really didn't want to change out of my pajamas (right?) so I started looking around online for a DIY project.

According to the website, all you need is yarn, glue, and a balloon. It doesn't really get any easier than that! However, I quickly found out it got messy.

I tried these out two nights before our segment and I'm really glad I did. It took some time to figure out how to get the balloon in the right spot, because I could use both hands to wrap the yarn around the balloon - and that yarn was coated in glue. And unlike our last craft, it wasn't a tasty mess.

If you can get past the mess though, I think these are a really cool craft. The blog says to let them sit for at least 24 hours. I would double that time to 48 hours. I found it was a lot easier to separate the balloon from the yarn after two days, rather than one. Also, try not to always wrap from top to bottom or else you'll get a big gathering of yarn at both ends and it warps the ball-shape a little bit. Besides that, have fun!
