DAVENPORT, Iowa — A garage door was the only victim of an apparent drive-by shooting, says Davenport police.
Police responded to a shots fired call around 12:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, in the 5600 block of Belle Court in Davenport. A casing was recovered by police and the home’s garage door had been struck.
Witnesses reported that a white SUV pulled up in front of the home and someone inside the SUV fired a gun toward the home. This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Davenport Police Department at 563-326-6125.
