Car swerves, rolls attempting to avoid crash with other vehicle

DAVENPORT, Iowa — In attempting to avoid a crash with another vehicle, police say a driver swerved and ended up rolling.

Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Central Park and Harrison Street around 8:20 a.m. on Friday, November 25.  Davenport police say the car rolled over but there were no major injuries.

A Ford Focus was traveling eastbound on Central Park Ave and was going through the intersection with Harrison Street. The driver of the Focus swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle, which attempted to make a left turn in front them. The driver lost control of the Focus and struck the main traffic control device on the southeast corner of the intersection. The crash caused the vehicle to roll over.

No injuries requiring treatment reported at this time.
