MOLINE – Back by popular demand, the Good Morning Quad Cities and WQAD News 8 at 11 crews Turkey Bowled on Monday, November 21, 2016.

Happy Joe’s, at 2041 16th Street in Moline, has been gracious enough to host us, along with giving out discounts for pizzas.

For $5, a person could bowl a frozen turkey twice. All proceeds are going to the River Bend Foodbank! Spares earned a discount from Happy Joe’s or other area businesses. Strikes earned even bigger prizes.

Nancy Renkes from the River Bend Foodbank said that the total amount raised Monday was $414, which helped to provide 2,070 meals for hungry people in the Quad Cities community.

Thanks to Happy Joe’s, the Moline Rudy’s Tacos, Maid Rite, Salon Halo, and Teske’s Pet and Garden for all the prizes!

The 16th Street Happy Joe’s is offering $1 off your meal, for every can you bring in to its restaurant until Friday, November 25, 2016. The discount goes up to five cans per visit.
