CHICAGO (WGN-TV) — Cubs fans who’ve run out of Anthony Rizzo’s highlight videos can now watch him highlight a whole different set of skills.

Rizzo’s latest release, posted to his Instagram account, is a collaboration with his dad on Coldplay’s “The Scientist.” The Cubs first baseman played piano while his father Joined in on drums. They’re not quite ready to sell out arenas, but it’s a noble effort, and it’s always refreshing to see athletes that aren’t focused solely on “W’s” during the off-season.

This isn’t the first time Rizzo showcased his musical side: the Cubs first baseman also collaborated with country singer Brett Eldredge, including accompanying him on piano, and singing on stage at Rosemont last December.

And combined with Schwarber’s high school show choir experience, Theo Epstein on guitar, the Cubs could put together a whole different kind of winning act.
