MOLINE, Illinois — Dozens of Quad City residents proudly showed off their "staches" during the Mustache Bash Pub Crawl on Saturday night, Nov. 19, in Moline. The men had been growing out their mustaches to bring awareness and raise donations for the Quad Cities Child Abuse Council.

"I like volunteering and I like participating in events that are fun like this, the Mustache Challenge, but we're also here for a good cause and that is to raise money for the Child Abuse Council," said Dan Verscha, three-year participant.

After spending an hour at four downtown Moline bars, the men could get their mustaches trimmed for free by a generous barber from Gentleman's Barbershop and Shave Parlor.
