Man taken to hospital after rollover crash in rural Galena

GALENA, Illinois — One man was removed from his vehicle by the Galena Fire Department after he lost control and his truck rolled over. It happened on Wednesday, Nov. 16, on West Stagecoach Trail in rural Galena.

Police say Donald Shellenberger, 38, of Elizabeth was traveling east on Stagecoach Trail when his truck began to slide on mud that was spread across the roadway. Shellenberger lost control and left the roadway. The truck rolled one time, coming to a rest on its tires.

Shellenberger was taken to by ambulance to the Midwest Medical Center.
