MOLINE - Back by popular demand, the Good Morning Quad Cities and WQAD News 8 at 11 crews will be holding a Turkey Bowling Contest on Monday, November 21, 2016.
Happy Joes, at 2041 16th Street in Moline, has been gracious enough to host us, along with giving out discounts for pizzas, for people who bowl strikes or spares.
For $5, a person can bowl a frozen turkey twice. All proceeds are going to the River Bend Foodbank! If they get a spare, they'll get a discount from Happy Joes or other area businesses. If they get a strike, they'll get an even bigger prize!.
Eric Sorensen, Lauren Simone, and I will be there throughout GMQC, from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. Monday. Angie Sharp will be there from 7 a.m. to noon.
