Clinton convenience store robbed

CLINTON, Iowa — A robber was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash from a Clinton convenience store on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Around 10 a.m. officers were called to the Shell Express at 500 N. Second Street. Employees reported that an unknown man entered the store and demanded money. He was able to get away with cash and merchandise before officers arrived.

The suspect is described simply as wearing dark colored clothing.

The robbery is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Clinton Police Department at 563-243-1458.
