MOLINE, Illinois -- One of the city's top leaders is leaving his post.

News that City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher was leaving the City of Moline came in early November 2016, and was effective immediately.  His departure was being called a retirement, and happened around the time his contract was up for renewal.

Steinbrecher came to Moline 12 years before, after leaving Ohio.
