MOUNT UNION, Iowa — More than 250 marijuana plants were seized in Henry County and one man was arrested Thursday, Nov. 10.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office conducted a search on South Crew Street in Mount Union around 9 a.m. Thursday after receiving information that marijuana was being grown and sold out of a home.
During the search, authorities seized 254 marijuana plants, baggies and scales, weapon and cash.
James Nicholson, 36, was charged with felony manufacturing marijuana, felony possession with intent to deliver, and two felony charges for violating drug tax stamp laws. Nicholson is held at the Henry County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
