GALESBURG, Illinois - After 120 years in the community, a Galesburg business is closing its doors.

The owner of Continental Clothing says he's retiring.

Pat Burns is the fourth generation to take over the store, but he says his kids have no interest taking it over and it's time for him to move on.

Burns says without the dedicated customers they wouldn't have been able to last as long, "I really appreciate it, we`ve enjoyed our relationship. We have always tried to treat the people like we would like to be treated ourselves so it will be sad."

The store will start its public sale Thursday, November 10, 2016 and will close sometime around Christmas.
