Flags ordered at half-staff to honor the Iowa officers who were killed

DES MOINES, Iowa — Flags have been ordered at half-staff to honor the two police officers killed in ambush style attacks.

To honor Des Moines Police Sgt. Tony Beminio and Urbandale Police Officer Justin Martin, flags will be kept at half-staff on the days of interment.  This order was issued by Iowa Governor Terry Branstad’s Office.

The two officers were killed in the early morning hours of November 2.
