DIXON, Illinois-- The search for a missing Dixon, Illinois man is now in the hands of the community.

27-year-old Zachary O'Bryant was last seen at about 11 p.m. on Thursday leaving PatiO's Irish Pub on West First Street on foot.

Zac's cell phone and debit card were at his house, and his car was at his girlfriend's house near College and Fourth Street.

And now the community is pitching in to help find him.

"I hope we find him alive. If not, we find him so we can say goodbye," says Zac's girlfriend's mom Diane Stiens.

Friends say the 27-year-old was out for a night of darts with friends and family, and he never returned home.

"I don't know what else we can do other than searching, but that's our only option at this point," says search coordinator and family friend Roberta Magnifici.

People who've never even met Zac strap on their boots and dig in to search the town.

The crew has been searching since Saturday, and it's grown in size everyday.

"He's always been a good kid, he's worked hard. It just, this isn't something he would do," says Magnifici.

On Tuesday night, there will be a candle light vigil at PatiO's, the last place Zac was seen.

The group will continue searching. If you want to help with search efforts, the group will meet at River's Edge Inn at 2303 W. First Street. Contact the restaurant for more information.
