MOLINE, Illinois — The first-ever Walk for Hypotonia Awareness took over the streets of Moline on Sunday, Oct. 23. Hypotonia is also known as floppy baby syndrome. Baby with the disease have low muscle tone and strength.

Participants walked in their honor, then enjoyed a taco dinner, raffles and live music at Generations Bar and Grill in Moline. The event was hosted by the group Team Rosalina.

All the money raised from the walk will be donated to the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, a non-profit organization that provides therapy to children in the QC area regardless of the family's ability to pay for services.
