JANESVILLE, Iowa (AP) — A northeast Iowa woman was injured when the car she was driving collided with a train.
Kimberly Bradfield, 41, was hurt Wednesday evening, Oct. 12, when a Canadian National freight train hit her car at a crossing north of Janesville, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports.
Bremer County Sheriff Dan Pickett says the crossing is controlled by a yield sign.
Bradfield, of Janesville, was taken to a Waterloo hospital and then transferred to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Her injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
