If you didn’t get a chance to take a ride on the Channel Cat Water Taxi yet this season, you have a few days left to check that off your to-do list.
This Saturday and Sunday will be the last weekend until 2017 to catch a ride on the popular river attraction. The water taxi will operate a modified schedule from 11:10 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Routes can be found here.
The water taxi service saw record ridership in 2016, embarking nearly 44,000 passengers. This was despite having to shut down the first weekend of October due to high water and minor flooding.
Service will resume on Memorial Day weekend of 2017, weather permitting.
