DECORAH, Iowa (AP) — A college student who had been missing for more than a day has been found dead in the Upper Iowa River.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that authorities found the 21-year-old Minnesota man in the river Sunday morning. He was last seen at a bar in Decorah early Saturday morning.
Decorah Police said Bjorn Norderhaug was a student at Luther College. He was from Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Authorities began looking for the computer science major from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, on Saturday.
Someone reported finding a body in the Upper Iowa River outside of Decorah on Sunday. Rescuers were able to recover the body Sunday morning, September 18, 2016.
