CHANTILLY, Va. — A plane with around 100 Vietnam veterans from around the Quad-Cities touched down in the D.C. area Thursday morning, part of the first-ever Honor Flight dedicated to the men and women who served in Vietnam.

Later Thursday, the veterans will be visiting the Mall in Washington D.C. as well as the Vietnam War Memorial and the Korean and World War II memorials. Check back today and Friday for more updates from the trip.
