SILVIS, Illinois -- Sunday's Volunteer of the Day spent her time at the John Deere Classic keeping everyone hydrated.
Alyssa Schindler, a junior at Bettendorf High School, said the volunteering was a collaborative effort by her cheerleading team.
"If we had enough volunteers we'd get money for new mats and uniforms or something so for all the cheerleaders that volunteer and parents the money comes back to us," she said.
Alyssa and her teammates refilled hundreds of water bottles during their volunteer stint.
