Round 1 Play of the John Deere Classic will be a hot one with temperatures climbing into the low 90s. Once you factor in humidity, the “feel like” temperatures will be near 100.
During the afternoon, we could see a few showers and isolated thunderstorms move through. The greatest threat as the storms roll in will be a possibility for strong winds.
Tonight, we’ll see another round of wet weather. Showers and storms will continue throughout the night, bringing in heavy rainfall. Showers will move out early tomorrow morning, leaving us with dry skies for majority of Friday.
Cooler temperatures will follow tonight’s rainfall, moving daytime highs into the upper 80s tomorrow. Weekend temperatures are looking to stay below normal, with the low 80s moving back into the picture.
