DAVENPORT, Iowa — People packed Lindsay Park in Davenport to sample beer from local breweries, enjoy live music, and enjoy some games like bags on Saturday, Aug. 6.

All the money raised goes to Gilda's Club to support people and families coping with cancer.

"As we know cancer affects everyone and so we try to do something just to kind of spread what Gilda's Club is all about, and by having these events it allows us to be able to continue to offer the free services to families in the community that have been impacted by cancer," said Joy McMeekan, Gilda's Club Development Director.

Gilda's Club also collected money at the event with a silent auction and raffle.
