DAVENPORT, Iowa — Storms railed through the Quad Cities Thursday evening, August 4, 2016, hitting a 3 Doors Down concert in progress.

The video shows the band playing the song “Loser,” and right toward the end, the crowd got drenched by some hard rainfall, and it seemed to add to the excitement.

The 3 Doors Down member who posted the video, Brad Arnold, described the situation, saying “God gave the show some pretty awesome special effects!”

The rain started hitting the Mississippi Valley Fair hard around 9:20 p.m., according to WQAD News 8’s StormTrack 8 Live Blog.

Tornado warnings were issued for south central Clinton and northeastern Scott Counties Thursday evening.  The National Weather Service had been reporting that a tornado was spotted near Long Grove, Iowa, 13 miles north of Davenport at one point.
