Here we are at August 1. Can you believe how quickly our summer is going? As we welcome in a new month, all eyes are on rainfall. Typically, we receive more than 4 1/2 inches of rain in the month of August...the rainiest of all months and the end of a four consecutive months of our "rainy season."
We have quite a bit of rain in the forecast, even for the next week or so. 1-2 inches will be widespread by week's end with some spots getting an inch or two of rainfall in just a few hours during thunderstorms.
Rain will be maximized on Wednesday and then again Friday into Saturday.
