Finally! A northerly wind is starting to blow. This will squash the hot and humid weather we've been seeing, pushing it to the southern United States.
While we will have noticeably less humidity, it won't feel like Fall. that's because we have very healthy agriculture this Summer. Those corn and soybean fields are putting off quite a bit of moisture these days. It's not until we head into the latter part of August that will get some cooler nights in the 50s.
