Both teams were showing their best stuff at the Action Valley Paintball course on the Green Valley Sports Complex.

"The blue-red thing is always a lot of fun," said Det. Scott Williams, Moline Police Department.  "We crash into each other and give each other a hard time.  But when it hits the fan, we're always there for each other."

There's a message within the mayhem.

They're pledging $400 to help the survivors' fund in Dallas.

"We decided to do this in recognition of the officers that had fallen in Dallas," he continued.  "We wanted to promote a proper fund where people could donate."

Donors can send monetary contributions to: Assist the Officer, 1412 Griffin Street East; Dallas, TX 75215.

Checks can also be dropped off at the Moline Police Department -- 1640 6th Avenue in Moline.
