DES MOINES, Iowa — Enterprising butter sculptor Sarah Pratt is taking on a celestial challenge at the Iowa State Fair, reports WHO.

As a companion to the annual Butter Cow sculpture, Pratt will craft two scenes from the original Star Trek television show, along with a butter model of the starship USS Enterprise. The scenes will feature Captain Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy and Lt. Uhura.

It’s only fitting that Captain Kirk make an appearance, as Riverside, Iowa is his future birthplace.

The sculptures will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the original Star Trek television show, which over the years has evolved into several shows and movies. The latest version, “Star Trek Beyond,” is being released in theaters Friday.

Pratt took over as the fair’s butter sculptor in 2006, after her mentor Duffy Lyon retired.

The 2016 Iowa State Fair runs August 11 to August 21, 2016.
