Right off Interstate 80 is Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club in LaSalle, Illinois, which has something unique to this area - bent grass.
"With the bent grass, the ball is going to sit up a lot better where if you get the blue grass it's maybe laying down," explains Jesse Cavanaugh, Director of Golf. "It's just a nicer feature."
The golf course also offers four different sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels of golfers for all areas.
"I'm so surprised," says Jesse. "Every time I answer the phone it's someone from a different area - Chicago, Quad Cities, Bloomington - all over the place."
The golf course is best known for its last hole, #18.
"It's 250-yard carry over water to an elevated green up top by the Clubhouse so that's our signature hole," explains Jesse. "Our Par 3s are all very unique as well with lots of water."
