MILAN, Illinois — What’s better than yoga? Yoga with kittens.

The Quad City Animal Welfare Center is partnering with Tippi Yogis to offer a Kitten Yoga class to benefit the shelter. The class will be held at the shelter 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 724 W. Second Avenue.

The kittens won’t be doing yoga, of course, but participants will be doing yoga while shelter kittens play in the room.

The class costs $15, with $10 of the cost going directly to the shelter. Participants should register online through PayPal or in person at the shelter. Teens 16 and older who practice yoga are welcome, and those 12-15 can attend if they are accompanied by a participating adult. Everyone should bring their own mats.
