ROCK ISLAND, Iowa — Strength and endurance are put to the test this weekend during the third annual Urban Street Games. This competition brings CrossFit athletes from all over the Quad Cities to compete.

Teams of two men and two women test their strength. More than 250 people competed Friday, June 24, in Rock Island.

For one first time competitor, he says it's going to be an interesting weekend.

"We've got a big group here, we got about three teams doing it together. We all work out together so it's gonna be a lot of fun," said Freddy Rangel.

The Urban Street Games will continue with more competitions Saturday in the District of Rock Island. The final workout is expected to start around 4 p.m. and last until 7 p.m.
