WQAD – Yep, it’s meteorologist Greg Dutra!

Greg has been at our Tribune-owned sister station, KDVR in Denver, since he left the Quad Cities.  KDVR is sharing him with us for the night.

As you may have heard, our Chief Meteorologist James Zahara and Good Morning Quad Cities meteorologist Eric Sorensen have both been on the mend from surgeries that required them to be off work for a while.

Ryan Burchett helped us out with evening forecasts for a few days, and Greg Dutra will help us bring you the latest QC weather info during our 5, 6, 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts Thursday, May 19, 2016.  We’re also grateful for the help we’re getting from our friends at WGN-TV, too.

James should be back with us Friday, May 20.

James and Eric are still posting updates on social media, and they’d love to hear from you as well!
