Tour de Brew combines bike riding and entertainment in a day dedicated to raising money to help local cancer patients and their families.
Tour de Brew Quad Cities is a five-mile bike ride, on bike trails along the Mississippi River, on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
The ride starts and ends at RIBCO in Rock Island. At 10 a.m., bicyclists head toward stops in Rock Island, the Village of East Davenport, Rapids City and Davenport before returning to RIBCO.
Food, games, live entertainment and some drink specials are offered along the route.
Live music and adult-sized games are part of the fun at some of the stops, and the event will be followed by an after-party at RIBCO until 8 p.m.
The event raises money for cancer charities in the Quad Cities area including Camp Kesem - which provides camp for children with cancer - the Normaleah Ovarian Cancer Foundation, and the LIVESTRONG Foundation.
