Ellen DeGeneres shares her special tribute to music legend Prince, as she fondly remembers that he didn’t wait to see whether her show would be popular or cool.
Instead, Prince made his first appearance on her show in its very first season.
“(T)he coolest part of having this job is that I get to meet incredible artists and heroes of mine and they perform right here in front of me. And of all the bands and artists that I’ve had on the show there was no one like Prince,” Ellen said.
Her tribute to Prince is part of the show that airs Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2016.
