The Village of Edgington is under a boil order through Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
A spokesperson from the village said that the water had low pressure early Monday morning, which prompted a precautionary boil order.
Residents were encouraged to boil their water before use until Thursday, according to the spokesperson. The issue was village-wide.
The issue closed Rockridge Junior and Senior High Schools on Monday. School was expected to resume Tuesday.
