BURLINGTON, Iowa -- A young girl was hospitalized after being bitten by a dog near Burlington, Iowa, according to authorities in Des Moines County.

Deputies were called to the 4200 block of 160th Street around 7:20 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016.
