Women accused of spitting and throwing drink at store clerk who carded them

Two women are accused of assault because of what they allegedly did to a store clerk who asked them for identification.

The women were reportedly trying to buy alcohol at the Iowa Street Market at 1256 Iowa Street on Thursday, March 17, 2016.

When the clerk requested identification, the women allegedly spit on the clerk and threw a beverage at her.

Dubuque Police posted photos of the suspects on their website Monday, March 28, 2016.
