LE CLAIRE, Iowa -- The Le Claire Police Department says the owner of the lace and satin wedding dress that was found in Iowa after the tornado Tuesday, March 15 has been found.
The owner hasn't been identified, but police did confirm the dress was found in Iowa but came over from Illinois, meaning the dress traveled all way over the Mississippi River unharmed.
The dress had been found boxed up and still in great condition by a newspaper delivery man on Wednesday morning.
Police wasted no time in asking for the public's help to reunite the dress with its owner.
