A dorm at a Dubuque, Iowa college was on fire early Wednesday morning, March 16, 2016.

The fire, which started around 5:30 a.m., was burning at Visitation Hall on the Loras College campus, according to a report by KCRG.  Flames started at the top of the building and could reportedly be seen for miles.

Dubuque County was included in a high wind warning as of 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.  Winds were expected to blow at 40 mph with gusts from 55 – 60 mph. KCRG reported that the winds were giving firefighters trouble.

According to KCRG, the Dubuque Fire Department said the cupola on top of the building could collapse at anytime.

Everyone got out of the building, according to the report.
