PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island -- Students at Brown University say homework is interfering with their protesting schedules and demand professors grant them extensions on homework and tests.
Students want to be full-time activists and say the 'student part' of college is taking a toll.
A student named "David" told the university newspaper that his course load is just too much and he can't keep up with his activism.
Other students say the ivy-league school simply has unrealistic expectations.
So far, faculty members aren't budging on the amount of homework they assign.
