The Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys's Basketball team is preparing for a big game Friday, January 29, 2016 at the high school. The team takes on the United Township Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Before the game though, the Silver Streaks were featured on Good Morning Quad Cities for our Pre-Game Pep Rally. More than 100 students came out to the Thiel Gymnasium to show off their school spirit.

As an incentive to get the students to show up, Principal Roy Van Meter said he would take a pie to the face if many students showed up. At about 6:45 a.m. Friday, Van Meter and Assistant Principal William Bradford took pies in the face live on the air. See the video below!
