CHICAGO (AP) — A federal jury is ordering Caterpillar to pay a small British company more than $73 million in a trade secrets case.
Jurors concluded Caterpillar copied a Miller U.K. design for a piece of heavy-duty construction equipment.
The case in Chicago federal court lasted two months.
Caterpillar is deciding whether to appeal.
