CHICAGO (AP) — A federal jury is ordering Caterpillar to pay a small British company more than $73 million in a trade secrets case.

Jurors concluded Caterpillar copied a Miller U.K. design for a piece of heavy-duty construction equipment.

The case in Chicago federal court lasted two months.

Caterpillar is deciding whether to appeal.
