Shortly after power went out in thousands of homes in the Quad Cities area Sunday afternoon, December 13, 2015 the service was restored to many.

More than 3,600 customers in the Illinois Quad Cities area and more than 150 in Davenport were without power around 12:30 p.m., according to MidAmerican Energy’s outage map.

In Davenport, the outage was caused by “wildlife contact with power lines.” Restoration time had been estimated to be at 4 p.m.
