Business and culture collided Saturday afternoon, November 21, 2015, at the first Black Business Expo.
The Quad Cities Empowerment Network held the event at St. Ambrose University. Attendees were able to network and experts gave advice to business owners on how to grow their companies.
"Just for people to leave here feeling like they got something out of it," said community member Tracy White. "That's all we really wanted to accomplish."
At the Expo there was also a youth "Shark Tank" competition to help promote entrepreneurship.
