2015 Festival of Trees Parade in Davenport cancelled

The annual Festival of Trees Parade in Davenport, Iowa has been cancelled.

2015 would have been the 24th year for the parade, but it was cancelled due to weather, according to the Quad City Arts CEO, Carmen Darland.

The parade had been set to take place Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10:15 a.m.

The week-and-a-half long Festival of Trees celebration at the River Center was expected to continue as normal. According to a Facebook post from Quad City Arts, even though the parade is off, patrons can still go to the Festival of Trees at the River Center on  Saturday, November 21, starting at 9 a.m.
