When and where to go to vote in November 3 local elections

You can check your voter registration status, and the location of your polling place, for Iowa-side municipal elections set for Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

You can check your voter registration status, and the location of your polling place, for Iowa-side municipal elections set for Tuesday, November 3, 2015.  Election Day registration is also available in Iowa.  You’ll need proof of identity and proof of residence.  for details, click here.

Poll hours vary by municipality.  

To confirm your voter registration status anywhere in Iowa, click here.  For school and municipal elections, state officials say you should also confirm your registration with your county auditor’s office.

Clinton County:

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Camanche, Charlotte, Clinton, Delmar, DeWitt, Goose Lake, Grand Mound, and Wheaton.  Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. for Andover, Calamus, Lost Nation, Low Moor, Toronto, and Welton.  To find your polling place in Clinton County, click here. 

Des Moines County:

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Burlington and West Burlington. Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. for Danville, Mediapolis, and Middletown.  You can find links to maps of precincts in the county by clicking here For a list of polling places in Des Moines County, click here. If you are still unsure where your polling location, contact the County Auditor’s Office at 319-753-8232.

Jackson County:

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Bellevue, Maquoketa, Preston, and Sabula.   Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. for Andrew, Baldwin, LaMotte, Miles, Monmouth, Spragueville, Spring Brook, and St. Donatus.   To find your polling place in Jackson County, click here.

Muscatine County:

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Muscatine; polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. in all other municipalities in Muscatine County.  To find your polling place in Muscatine County, click here.

Scott County:

Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Bettendorf, Blue Grass, Davenport, Eldridge, LeClaire, Long Grove, McCausland, and Princeton.   Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. for Buffalo, Dixon, Donahue, Maysville, New Liberty, Panorama Park, Riverdale, and Walcott.  To find your polling place, click here.  To verify your voter registration status, click here.
