As of noon Monday, October 26, 2015, the Scott County burn ban has been lifted.
The Iowa State Fire Marshal lifted the ban after recent rain has lowered the fire risk around the county, according to the Scott County Emergency Management Agency.
The National Weather Service has changed the fire risk for the “Iowa Grassland Fire Danger Index” to “low.”
